- No trackback in that other post. oh well.
- Janguru! Where are you taking me with that check?
- Man... talk about getting your hopes up... see something that looks like a check come in the mail and BAM... nada. Networks shouldn't be meanies like that :)
- After wading thru hundreds of make money blogs showing off their super affiliate checks, your post is a nice deviation from the cookie cutter posts I see so often in this area of media.
- Beautiful post, You are a great affiliate - or better supper affiliate- you seem a brave person to show a zero value check publicly.

That's a handsome mic - I've heard from some "experts" that USB is cleaner, better quality than having the individual headphone and mic jacks.
I might have to get one of those M-Audio mics.
Just curious, though - why not an affiliate link? -
Hey Shawn. No reason other than laziness, and since I put it behind a tinyurl, I felt the need to disclose.
When I dig up that bestbuy account, I may switch it out. -
As for the microphone quality, the USB may be cleaner, but I think it's more about the microphone itself.
My first podcast was done with a USB headset microphone, also not a cheap one, well not cheap when I got it. It's only $20 at Amazon now. http://tinyurl.com/22duvr
The sound quality doesn't compare. -
Thanks for sharing Sandy she looks like a helpful gal.

That she is, Steph. And we'll see how helpful she is on Friday reminding me about someone's birthday. ;)

Great podcast!
I'm more and more tempted by the switch to Gmail but what did you do with your old email archives and do you often need to search through them? -
Thanks Fraser!
My old email is sitting still on the backup drive, so it's not terribly accessible to me right now. But that's not because of the switch to gmail. that's just because I haven't moved it over to my new drive.
It's all sitting in my Mail program. There are times I do wish I could search through it, but it's remarkably less than I would have expected. I may just leave it out of reach to force myself away from it.
And as it turns out, I think if I lost all my old email, I would survive! -
Yeah I suppose you are right. I think it's one of these things you get a little too attached to and I think I have to file and store every email I have ever received. It might actually be nice to just leave it all behind!
