Those are some really good suggestions. #5 I especially like since I'm a web designer. I see it all the time, and when I re-design a clients website, there is an instant boost in sales. Most people don't understand that - great post!

Great article - excellent advice.
Do it right and don't fall for all the nonsense get rich quick schemes.
Affiliate marketing is real work and if you want real results then give Google and the consumer real content not a bunch of spam. -
$1, $10, $100, or $1000 per day all require the same strategies you've listed above. Just more of the same over and over again. It really is just a numbers game, that begins with getting some traffic. Thanks for the reminders.

That last comment is the greatest thing about affiliate marking. Rather then 8 hours a day it works 24 hours a day for you. So when you talk to people you say "stop and imagine if you could work 24 hours a day 7 days a week making the money you are now...." That would be X and that's the beauty of the internet. Honestly though if someone can't make a site a day that makes a 5 bucks a day then you need to figure out something else to do. Between cpa, cpl, cpc, cpm and collecting email lists with very little work you should be able to make a site that makes that amount of money easy. Now say you work a 5 day work week that's 5 sites a week that's 250 sites a year. Which is 1250 a day profit. Not bad for a years worth of work.

P.S. The beauty of the system above is you'll gain efficiencies in it as you get better. Like out sourcing article writing, link building, and scripting some of the stuff that takes a little time like domain setup and keyword research. -
I agree, growing an affiliate business requires time. I also would like to say that you can build equity in a market by building your email list. Lets say that you are marketing cookbooks to aspiring chefs, a) you sell just a cookbook. b) you give something of value free to them in exchange for the name and email, then sell the book and other products later. You can increase your business by establishing contact with people interested in what you have to say and sell.
